Imagine
A problem.
A product.
In a university project with RTBF, our team tackled a challenge by imagining CUDI: a cube that makes availability visible. My role was to explore a response and help give it form.

I'm Mattéo Capaldo, an entrepreneur and consultant in the Namur region. I support innovation, positioning and organisation projects — from the first question to concrete decisions.

01 / What I do
Three verbs. Three real projects.
And perhaps a starting point for yours.

Choose
From neon signs to trophies and custom objects, I broadened WOAW Design's offering. Now WOAW, the brand brings together three areas — Light, Awards and Design — to give brands a physical presence.
From WOAW Design to WOAW
Structure
For WOAW, my own business, at JEN Consult and in some client cases, I have modelled processes in BPMN. Mapping the steps makes it easier to see where time is lost and responsibilities become unclear.
What's holding your project back today?
Let's talk02 / The journey · 2019–2026
From Planet Tech to JEN Consult, these are the milestones that changed how I create, sell and support projects.
Understanding digital
At 15, I launch my first e-commerce business for tech products. We develop the website, SEO, communications and social media.
At 15, this project taught me to figure things out and learn by doing. Above all, it gave me the confidence to start without waiting to master everything.

Meeting customers
Tiramisu and Italian dishes. At 18, I earn my first thousand euros selling food I prepared myself. Alongside that, I experience production work at Mondelēz.
What stayed with me: listening, offering, delivering and improving matter as much as the initial idea.
I was just here for the tiramisu 🍰

Discovering production
Since June 2022, I have worked at Mondelēz International in Namur once or twice a month, gaining first-hand experience of how an assembly line and a factory operate.
This work connects my management and marketing studies with practice. It helps me understand how production indicators are used to track activity and motivate teams.
Learning in the field
I deliver event equipment and work directly with customers. I develop a sense of service and organisation there; I have also completed a consulting assignment for FD Jump.
Fieldwork is a reminder that a good decision must work in real life.

Equip the team
I join JEN Consult as IT Manager. I work on Odoo, the website and the migration to Microsoft tools. BPMN modelling also helps me make processes easier to understand.
This is the beginning of a journey that leads me to management two years later.
Step back
Alongside JEN Consult, I join LinKube to move WOAW forward. The incubator helps me question the value proposition and the model behind an idea begun in 2022.
What stayed with me: innovation moves further when intuition meets method and good conversations.

From idea to object
After starting the project in 2022, I officially launch WOAW. Custom neon signs open the door; trophies and other creations gradually broaden what the business can imagine and make.
What I learn every day: frame a need, prototype, make, sell and evolve a position.

From systems to people
Since June, I have been COO at JEN Consult. After IT, my work expands to managing teams, organising projects and making decisions about services and positioning.
Strategy takes shape when a team knows what to do, for whom and why.

My reflections on LinkedInEducation
My background in business engineering in Namur, with a focus on Business & Sustainability, shaped my approach to analysis, strategy and organisation. University projects allowed me to connect this learning to real situations, notably through CUDI.
03 / Proof in practice
Different settings, one habit: understand the problem before designing a solution.

A challenge set by RTBF, a response imagined as a team: an object that makes availability visible.
My role: innovation and solution exploration. From tools to COO decisions: organise work, clarify processes and evolve services.
My role: IT Manager, then COO since June 2026.
From an idea in 2022 to a business launched in 2025: learning to design, make and position an offer.
My role: founder.A problem in my business, then a complete software solution to address it: centralising my data, managing customer relationships and finding prospects.
My role: software design and development.04 / Tools & methods
Management tools to run an organisation. Methods to shape an idea and make decisions clearer.
An ERP I used to support teams at JEN Consult.
Migrating JEN Consult's systems to Microsoft tools.
Object design and prototype preparation.
Preparing parts for 3D printing.
I faced a practical problem in my business: I needed a tool to store and centralise my data, manage customer relationships and find prospects. So I developed a complete software solution combining a CRM and prospecting tools to meet that need.
I do more than use tools: I also develop them when I need them.
I use AI to explore ideas, structure information and move my projects forward, while critically reviewing the results.
From page structure to publishing: creating a web presence that clearly presents a project and its offering.
Publishing and updating websites with Netlify.
Process modelling at JEN Consult and in client cases.
A framework explored during my incubation at LinKube.
To question an offer and its value proposition at LinKube.
Listening to the people involved and testing ideas in the field.
Understand the brief, the people involved and the constraints before looking for a solution. This was part of our work on the challenge set by RTBF.
Turn an idea into something that can be shown and discussed. With CUDI and WOAW, sketches and prototypes help clarify the choices.
Explore who an offering is for, what it brings and how to present it. Work I have done at JEN Consult and as WOAW Design evolved into WOAW.
Make steps and roles clear through process modelling, then coordinate teams and assignments in my role as COO at JEN Consult.
Creativity & innovation · prototyping · 3D printing · welding · hands-on work · teamwork · customer relationship management (CRM) · sales · customer service · event organisation · event logistics · photography & video.

05 / The person behind the projects
Since childhood, I have spent hours building, assembling and testing. Today, I develop WOAW and contribute to the management of JEN Consult.
I also learned from the field at Mondelēz International in production and at FD Jump in deliveries, customer relations and consulting. These experiences taught me to look at what really happens behind an organisation.
I don't claim to have every answer. I bring energy, a structured perspective and a desire to build with the people involved.
